Donna Hewitt, NPDonna graduated from Gardner-Webb University-Boiling Springs with both her Bachelor and Masters of Science in Nursing. She graduated cum laude for both programs. Her nursing career began in1984 initially focused in medical/surgical care. Her focus transferred to oncology in 1986 with the Gibb's Cancer Center in Spartanburg, SC. She joined Park Ridge Health on the medical/surgical unit and quickly became the Clinical Leader in the Oncology infusion center and Clinical Oncology Nurse Navigator in 2008 after working more than a decade as an Oncology Clinical Research Nurse at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
With demonstrated excellence in oncology, integrative pain management, and MAT certification for substance use disorders, she opened her clinic in Forest City, NC in the fall of 2019. She has a passion for combining holistic and traditional approaches in patient treatment plans. With focused proven ability to motivate patients toward healthier lifestyles, her goal is to provide quality-driven and detail-oriented pain relief with primary care integration and attention to patient satisfaction. Sheri Couch, NPPain Management Plus welcomed Sheri Couch in October 2021, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for patient care. Originally from Shelby, North Carolina, Sheri completed her nursing education at the University of South Carolina, where she was honored with induction into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honorary Nursing Society. She later earned her Master's degree from Walden University in 2016.
Sheri's diverse background spans roles as a BSN-RN in medical/surgical nursing, travel nursing, and nursing management. After earning her Master's degree, she transitioned to the Fayetteville area, where she honed her expertise in Pain Medicine, Family Medicine, Mental Health, and Skilled Nursing/Rehab. Her true calling, however, became clear as she developed a deep commitment to pain management, helping patients relieve and manage pain to improve their quality of life. As a mentor and trainer, Sheri has guided Nurse Practitioner students throughout her career. Today, she specializes in non-surgical treatments for spine-related issues, joint pain, and a variety of pain syndromes, including substance use disorders.
